Neighborhood Sign Project

Here is our existing sign. You can see some of the problems that need to be addressed.

  • The basic sign is block construction with a masonry coating. The coating is cracking and no longer adhering in places. The blocks may be shifting.
  • The brick veneer is a great upgrade. We can plan to match and finish covering the rest of the front with the same brick veneer. We will try to match it from Palmetto Brick in Myrtle Beach.
  • The top is unfinished. We can level it with cement level with the brick veneer as was done on the columns.
  • The lettering is dated and needs to be replaced with a more aesthetic sign.
This is a possible concept of the approximate size and idea we would be considering. We are thinking of 6′ wide and 2′ high for the basic sign with a possible extension for the oval on top. The new sandblasted sign for the center section of the sign where the lettering currently is attached. The dimensions of that center section are 52 in tall x 114 in wide.
